Lumen Chamblee development lands SabaRaba’s as first restaurant tenant

A big mixed-use development in Chamblee has its first restaurant tenant.

SabaRaba’s signed a lease to open at the Lumen Chamblee development in Downtown Chamblee, according to a news release. It will be the second location for SabaRaba’s. Owner Udi Hershkovitz opened the first in Sandy Springs in July 2022. The release did not include the estimated opening date.

Edie Weintraub of Atlanta-based firm Terra Alma brokered the lease.

SabaRaba’s serves falafel, shawarma and other Mediterranean fare. The restaurant will move into a ground-floor space that spans 1,425 square feet and includes a large patio.

Atlanta-based developers Atlantic Residential and Stein Investment Group are building Lumen Chamblee on American Way. The project includes 318 luxury apartments and ground-level commercial space. About 3,300 square feet of commercial space remains available. The developers say it could be leased by a single tenant or split into two spaces.
