16 Nov Mentor planners OK preliminary plans for self-storage facility
The Mentor Planning Commission recently approved a preliminary site plan for a future self-storage facility to be built on a vacant site at 7868 Reynolds Road, just south of the Tyler Boulevard intersection.
The facility, to be built by Stein Investment Group, will consist of five different buildings with a combined space of 104,411 square feet. It will feature both exterior access self-storage units and indoor limited access, climate-controlled self-storage spaces.
Jason Linscott, a representative of the investment group, explained to the planning commission that Stein has been building and running self-storage facilities for about the past 13 years and currently operates more than 50 similar businesses across several states.
He explained that the company is working on several other storage facilities in Ohio, including locations in Columbus, North Olmsted and Canton.
